Ed was responsible for the hit "Good Hearted Woman" by Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson. The two had seperate albums out with their own version of "Good Hearted Woman" on them and Ed took the two and mixed it together to make a duet of Waylon and Willie. When RCA records heard it, they immediately put the two together and the rest is history as "Good Hearted Woman" went on to be one of the biggest hits in country music and it's all because of Ed.
