Jen Austin is the Local News Director for KRNH. Her focus is following local stories from Bandera, Boerne, Comfort, Fredericksburg and Kerrville. Jen’s “beat” includes City Hall, Police, Sheriff, DPS, Fire Departments and Chambers of Commerce.

Jen graduated from the University of Nebraska with high distinction. She has been heard on over 100 stations across the country. In Dallas, she has worked on KHKS, and spent time on the popular Hot AC - KDMX, and country powerhouse KSCS. Family is her biggest source of pride and contentment though, and Jen's family includes two cute, spoiled, and energetic little girls with whom she loves spending time as much time as possible.
